The Levittown Fire Department responded to a deck fire at a Pasture Lane home at 11:33 p.m. Thursday.
Fire fighters quickly knocked the fire out before it could extend inside the home. Thermal imaging cameras were used to make sure the fire had not affected the interior.
No injuries were reported and the Nassau County fire marshal's office is investigating the cause.
