The Levittown Public Library's proposed budget for 2012-13 was passed by voters Tuesday. The budget received 238 "yes" votes, or 75.3 percent out of a total of 319 votes cast. The budget calls for a total of $7,100,293 in expenditures. This is up from $6,985,156 from the previous year. The board will also see a new trustee take office as challenger Rusel Greller defeated current board president Michael Radano. Greller received 61.1 percent of the vote, defeating Radano by a margin of 208 to 132. 340 total votes were cast in the trustee race. "I would like to thank the members of the community who came out to support me in the Levittown Public Library trustee election. I look forward to working with the board of trustees and especially director [Celeste] Watman in keeping the Library Public Library a great place for all ages," Greller said.
