March 15: Irish Soda Bread, Dealing with Autism and Dean's List Scholars

1. The Levittown School District will hold their elementary curriculum meeting this morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Levittown Memorial Education Center (150 Abbey Lane). 

2. Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, the Levittown Public Library is teaching how to bake Irish soda bread at 7 p.m. The material fee is $5. 

3. Levittown's ELIJA School hosts a presentation tonight on self-injurious and aggressive behavior, helping parents of children with Autism learn how to deal with this issue. To register, click here. The cost is $35.

4. The East Broadway PTA will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at East Broadway Elementary School (751 Seamans Neck Road) and the Abbey Lane PTA meets at the same time at Abbey Lane Elementary School (239 Gardiners Avenue).

5. Levittown's Bryan Costello, Stephanie Fabis, Lara Hajjar, Lindsay Srour and Elena Voronin all made the Dean's List for the Fall 2010 semester at Quinnipiac University. Congratulations to some of Levittown's brightest scholars!
