3. The Island Trees Library Board is holding a meeting tonight at the Island Trees Public Library at 8 p.m. Stop by, find out what's going on and meet the library's new director, Jessica Koenig.

4. It's New Talent Night at Governor's Comedy Club, starting at 8 p.m. Check out local comedians you've never seen take the mic before. Tickets are $12 plus a two beverage minimum per person.

Spring sports continue today as MacArthur softball hosts Floral Park at 4:15 p.m., MacArthur boys lacrosse hosts North Shore High School at 7 p.m., MacArthur girls track travels to Herricks High School at 4:30 p.m., Division girls track travels to Sewanhaka High School at 4:30 p.m., and Island Trees boys track travels to Seaford High School at 4:30 p.m.
