March 30: Baseball Kids Aim for Cal Ripken Tournament, Moms Council Merges with Neighbors

2. The Levittown North 12-year-old travel baseball team needs your help! Buy a ticket for $20 to the team's April 15 fundraiser and help our young local athletes get to a tournament in Baltimore with Cal Ripken! Your money will also get you a hot and cold buffet and entry into a raffle contest. Big news today: the Levittown Moms Council has merged with the Wantagh-Seaford Moms Council, opening the discussion to our neighbors, some of whom share our schools. The column will still run at 12 p.m. every Wednesday.

MacArthur baseball hosts Syosset this afternoon at 4:15 p.m. and Division softball hosts North Shore at 4:30 p.m. Island Trees softball travels to New Hyde Park at 4:30 p.m., and MacArthur softball hosts Massapequa at 4:30 p.m. Island Trees girls lacrosse travels to Floral Park at 4:30 p.m. MacArthur badminton travels to Farmingdale at 4:45 p.m. and Island Trees badminton hosts Clarke at 4:45 p.m.
