May 16: Concerts, Questions and Volunteers

1. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms today, according to the National Weather Service. Then expect periods of drizzle after 2 p.m. and clouds. The high temperature is near 68 degrees.

2. The Wisdom Lane Middle School Concert is tonight at 7 p.m. at 120 Center Lane. Salk Middle School is also hosting a concert tonight at 6:30 p.m. at 3359 North Jerusalem Road. Come watch our young local musicians show off their talents and let us know what you think of the performances.

3. The Island Trees PTSA is recognizing volunteers with a special dinner tonight at 7 p.m. at Island Trees Memorial Middle School at 45 Wantagh Avenue.
