Photos: Levittown Unites to Recognize Volunteers

Though large in population, Levittown proved to be a tight-knit community Thursday night as neighbors from various community groups gathered at the Levittown Memorial Education Center to honor their best volunteers.

In fact, many attendees to the 15th Annual Recognition Night for Community Service had a difficult time selecting just one table to sit at, as they volunteer for multiple organizations. Friends, relatives and co-workers greeted one another from across the room, congratulating honorees and enjoying a meal by the culinary students at the Gerald R. Claps Career and Technical Center.

Every group present chose one member to honor this year, and each presenter spoke proudly of the accomplishments, dedication and character of his or her honoree.
