Lindenhurst Marina Partnership To Give LI Boaters Access To 150+ Boats

The new partnership brings Strong's Marine's premium boat inventory and services to Surfside 3 Marina & Yacht Club.

LINDENHURST, NY — Strong’s Marine, a family-owned boat and yacht dealership and marina group, has partnered with SS3 Marina, which officials say will expand access to premium boat brands, marina services and customer support for boaters across Central Long Island.

Through the partnership, Strong’s Marine will operate out of SS3 Marina’s flagship property, Surfside 3 Marina & Yacht Club in Lindenhurst, bringing its inventory of new and pre-owned boats, brokerage services and customer support to a more centrally located hub on Long Island.

Strong’s Marine, which has served the Long Island boating community for more than 80 years, said the move reflects its continued expansion across the Northeast while strengthening its footprint closer to central Nassau and western Suffolk boaters.

This partnership allows us to better serve boaters in central Long Island while building on SS3’s long standing service foundation.”

Founded in 1968, SS3 Marina has long operated as a family-run marina business offering dockage, storage, brokerage and on-site marine service. The marina previously served as a dealership location for brands including Sea Ray, Formula, Carver and Boston Whaler, attracting customers from throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Officials said the partnership immediately expands boating options at the Lindenhurst property, with more than 150 boats already in inventory at the location.

Surfside 3 Marina & Yacht Club will continue operating as a full-service marina destination, offering dockage, maintenance, storage, brokerage and boat sales while incorporating Strong’s Marine’s “Total Care Commitment” customer service model.

Company officials said the partnership is designed to improve convenience and access for Long Island boaters looking for sales, service and marina support closer to central Long Island.

To celebrate the partnership, Strong’s Marine and SS3 Marina will host an open house event on June 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Surfside 3 Marina & Yacht Club in Lindenhurst. Attendees will be able to tour the marina, meet representatives from both companies and explore a selection of premium boat brands on display.

“We are excited to partner with Strong’s Marine and bring their premium brands to our location,” said Matthew Barbara, Northeast President of national boat dealer MarineMax. “This collaboration strengthens our ability to support the boating community with both exceptional service and top tier boat offerings.”
