Woman Arrested After Stabbing In North Amityville: Police
A woman was hospitalized after being stabbed at a residence early Wednesday, police said.
NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — A 49-year-old North Amityville woman was arrested after police said she stabbed another woman early Wednesday morning.
The stabbing happened at a residence on Harrison Avenue at about 1:55 a.m. on Sept. 23, Suffolk County police said.
A 23-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The suspect fled the scene on foot but was found and arrested a short time later, police said.
She is expected to be charged with second-degree assault, according to police.
