GLEN COVE, NEW YORK - New York State Assemblymember Charles Lavine (D-North Shore) issued the following statement regarding the 2026 Election.

“Yesterday’s election tsunami was not only a blue wave. In actuality, the colors of the wave were red, white, and blue. All over our great nation, real Americans who believe in the noble and exceptional spirit of our Constitution marched to the polls in record strength to condemn the cruelty, corruption, and crudity of the Trump cult. We Americans of good faith must now continue to stand together as we begin to restore our nation’s honor, decency, dignity, and strength.”
