Man Slashed In The Face In LES Attack, Suspect Still At Large
Police released surveillance images of the suspect on Tuesday.

NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for a suspect who is accused of slashing a man in the face in the Lower East Side last month.
The incident happened in front of 131 Chrystie Street on Thursday, Aug. 20 around 4:35 a.m.
According to police, a 31-year-old man got into an argument with the suspect which escalated into a fight.

The suspect then slashed the victim multiple times in the face with a sharp object, police said.
The 31-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene on foot. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, black pants, and white shoes.
