Valley Stream 24 Students Shine at Nassau County Games
Robert W. Carbonaro Represents Community with Pride at Friendly Competition
Students at Robert W. Carbonaro School in the Valley Stream 24 School District took a special field trip to compete in the Nassau County Games earlier this month.
Held at Mitchel Athletic Complex and Nassau Community College, the annual event brought together students from across Nassau County for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie. showcased their athletic abilities and sportsmanship as they took part in a variety of activities. The day featured a 100-meter dash, obstacle course, field games and other exciting challenges designed to encourage teamwork, perseverance and physical fitness.
Throughout the day, students enthusiastically competed in the events while demonstrating determination and school pride. Family members were on hand to cheer on the athletes, creating an uplifting atmosphere of encouragement and support.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for representing our district with such enthusiasm, sportsmanship and perseverance,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Unal Karakas. “It was inspiring to see our students enjoy this memorable experience.”
