8.6 Pounds Of Pot Found After Taconic Stop, Leading To Felony Arrest Of LI Man: NYSP
The Roslyn man was pulled over in the Town of Pleasant Valley on Wednesday night, according to New York State Police.

TOWN OF PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A traffic stop revealed a massive stash of weed, according to police.
The New York State Police say that on Wednesday, around 10:48 p.m., a trooper from Poughkeepsie stopped a vehicle traveling north on the Taconic State Parkway, in the Town of Pleasant Valley, for traffic violations.
State police say the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was 40-year-old Paul T. Kim, of Roslyn.

During an inventory of the vehicle, around 8.6 pounds of cannabis were found inside, according to NYSP
Kim was arrested and charged with felony second-degree criminal possession of cannabis (more than five pounds of cannabis).

He is scheduled to return to the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on March 26.
