DCHS Honors Bannerman's Neil Caplan
Mr. Caplan Receives High Honors at This Year's Historic Preservation & Awards Celebration in Fishkill
On May 31 at the annual Historic Preservation & Awards Celebration at the Brinckerhoff Inn in Fishkill, the Executive Director and Founder of the Bannerman Castle Trust, Mr. Neil J. Caplan, was honored by the Dutchess County Historical Society. The Society recognized Mr. Caplan for his leadership in energizing and engaging the community in the decades-long effort to preserve Bannerman Island and its history, while also ensuring that visitors can continue to enjoy this extraordinary part of Dutchess County.
