Victim ID'd In Deadly 3-Wheeled Motorcycle, Mercedes Head-On Crash: NYSP
Police say the 59-year-old was riding a Can-Am Spyder on Salt Point Turnpike when it crossed the center line, in Pleasant Valley.

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal Dutchess County motorcycle crash.
The New York State Police say that on Saturday, around 2:45 p.m., troopers from Poughkeepsie responded to the area of Salt Point Turnpike and Van Wagner Road, in the town of Pleasant Valley, after receiving a report of a head-on vehicle crash involving a three-wheeled motorcycle.
An initial investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Poughkeepsie and Troop K's Collision Reconstruction Unit determined that a 2025 Can-Am Spyder motorcycle, driven by 59-year-old William G. Coulston, of Millbrook, was traveling west on Salt Point Turnpike when it crossed the double yellow center line and struck a Mercedes-Benz head-on.

While the occupants of the Mercedes were not injured, Coulston was pronounced dead from his injuries at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital.
State police say that the investigation remains ongoing.
