Victims In Deadly, Head-On Orange County Collision ID'd By New York State Police
A Jeep had been traveling north on State Rte 284, when it crossed into the southbound lane and hit a tri-axle dump truck head-on, cops said.

MINISINK, NY — Authorities have released the identities of the victims in a deadly crash in the Hudson Valley.
The New York State Police say that on Friday, around 2:55 p.m., troopers from the Greenville barracks responded to the intersection of State Route 284 and County Road 22, in the town of Minisink, after reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Investigators say a 2014 Jeep had been traveling north on State Route 284, when it crossed into the southbound lane and struck a 2018 Western Star tri-axle dump truck head-on.

The driver and only occupant of the Jeep was 25-year-old Joshua R. Stevens, of Westtown. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The driver of the dump truck, who was identified as 38-year-old Michael Fasce, of Wurtsboro, was uninjured.

State police say that the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Bureau of Criminal Investigation at State Police Greenville at 845-344-5300.
