Centering Children’s Experiences: Contemporary Childhood, Wellbeing & Education

Join the Child Development Institute at Sarah Lawrence College for a full day of conversations and workshops considering the current landscape of early childhood, which is changing rapidly and significantly. How are we seeing these changes play out in schools and in children’s lives in general? Are the shifts actually aligned with what we know children need? We know that quality early childhood education is an important factor in children’s wellbeing, but what does “quality early childhood education" mean and look like? This conference is open to teachers, clinicians, parents -- anyone who works with children or has a child in their life!
Sarah Lawrence College is an approved CTLE sponsor and offers 7 CTLE hours for this program.
Sessions include:
- The Essential Value of Play in an Increasingly Non-Playful World
