3 NYC Pizza Spots Land On 'Hottest New Pizzerias' List: See Here

NEW YORK CITY — Three pizzerias in New York City were recently ranked among the "Hottest New Pizzerias In The US," according to Food and Wine Magazine.

The magazine put Five Dreams Pizzeria y Antojitos in Queens in the number one spot among eight others.

"Five Dreams stands out for its spectacularly flavorful mashup of Mexican and Italian American flavors,"the magazine wrote.

The pizzeria's chicken mole pizza, bistec a la Mexicana pie and birria pizza were named as standout food items to try.

Next on the list is Frico On 2nd in The Upper East Side.

Food and Wine Magazine praised the pizzeria's weekly drops of new Detroit- and New York-style pizzas. They also highlighted standout pies like the Mush Love and The Playful Pig.

The last New York City entry is Pizza Studio Tamaki in the East Village.

The pizzeria opened earlier this month and features Tsubasa Tamaki's signature Tokyo-style pizza made from a 30-hour fermented dough, according to the magazine.

The Try the Bismarck pie was praised for its mix of mozzarella, pork sausage, mushrooms and a whole egg that gets baked and added onto the pie upon serving.
