Brooklyn Children’s Museum (BCM) is pleased to announce a $25,000 grant from the Guru Krupa Foundation Inc. to support its 2026 cultural festivals, including the Museum’s beloved Holi and Diwali celebrations.

This funding will help BCM enhance vibrant, family-centered cultural programming —featuring live performances, art-making, music, dance, and community celebrations that highlight the rich cultural diversity of Brooklyn communities and New York City. Through these festivals, BCM expects to engage tens of thousands of children and caregivers, fostering cultural understanding, joyful learning, and community connection.

“We are grateful to the Guru Krupa Foundation for supporting our cultural festivals,” said Atiba T. Edwards, President & CEO of Brooklyn Children’s Museum. “This partnership allows us to create experiences that celebrate heritage and inspire curiosity. For many of BCM’s young visitors, these festivals are their first introduction to live performance and global traditions, laying a foundation for lifelong empathy and mutual respect.”
