Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Announces 28th Annual Harvest Festival
Six Sundays of Local Food, Live Music and Fall Traditions Return
August 30- October 4, with a New Theme to Explore Each Week
BETHEL, NY (August 2026) — Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, welcomes the return of its beloved Harvest Festival for its 28th year, beginning Sunday, August 30 and continuing for six consecutive Sundays through October 4, 2026.
A fall tradition in the Sullivan Catskills, Harvest Festival brings together the best of the region each week, from fresh produce and handcrafted goods to live music, family activities and one-of-a-kind experiences across the Bethel Woods campus. This year’s festival takes on added significance as Bethel Woods celebrates its 20th anniversary, kicking off the season with a Sunday dedicated to the people, stories and spirit that have shaped the organization over the past two decades.
Harvest Festival is open 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM every Sunday, rain or shine, and admission is free. Guests can shop for fresh produce and wares from more than 100 farmers, crafters, and makers while enjoying returning favorites including hay wagon rides, a corn maze, face painting, and pet adoptions.
With a different theme taking over the grounds each week no two visits will be quite the same:
- August 30 – Bethel Woods 20th Anniversary: Celebrate 20 years of Bethel Woods with live music from George Dennehy and the Chris Raabe Band with special guest Dr. Bob Beatty, plus kite flying on the Historic Field, a Bethel Woods scavenger hunt, Museum and docent experiences, and more.
- September 6 – The Great Outdoors: Explore the wild side of the Catskills with World of Animals, featuring a reptile show and falconry and birds-of-prey program, plus live music from The Dishonest Fiddlers.
- September 13 – BuildFest: Celebrate creativity and craftsmanship with BuildFest site tours and hands-on experiences, accompanied by live music from Pollen and King in Yellow.
- September 20 – Wellness: Recharge with sound healing on the Historic Field and other wellness-inspired activities, with live performances from Mekayla Rayne and The Mighty Remains.
- September 27 – Farm to Table: Celebrate the flavors and farms of the region with a live cooking demonstration and other culinary programming, plus live music from Gravity Krush.
- October 4 – Great Pumpkin Harvest: Close out Harvest Festival with a pumpkin-carving contest and plenty of fall spirit, accompanied by live music from Bourbon Sprawl and Wood Flower.
