Join the KiDS NEED MoRE 5K supporting children and families impacted by serious illness, cancer, and other tough stuff.
Every step helps create camp experiences, friendship, joy, and moments where kids can simply be kids again.
Childhood only happens once… let’s make it a good one.
At KiDS NEED MoRE, every step of this 5K helps give childhood back to children and families impacted by serious illness.
• Hospital bracelets become friendship bracelets.
• Scared nights with a nightlight become cabin nights with flashlights.
• Racing against time becomes racing across fields with best friends.
• The heavy chords of trauma become songs played on a campfire guitar.
• Treading water through hard days becomes splashing in the lake.
• Feeling like you’re the only one becomes feeling like you belong.
Because childhood only happens once—let’s make it a good one.
Run for M❤️RE Than a Medal — Run for a Cause!
This year’s 5K includes four special awards:
🏃♀️ Top Female Finisher – $1,000 Donation*
🏃♂️ Top Male Finisher – $1,000 Donation*
*Each winner will direct their $1,000 award to an accredited charity, educational program, New York State college savings program, or community initiative supporting children’s health and well-being.
Funds will be donated on the winner’s behalf to a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, public institution, or NY’s 529 College Savings Program. To be eligible, the participant must have signed up for the race.
