Join the Colonel Benjamin Tallmadge Chapter, NSDAR, as we celebrate a decade of service in the Bronx with our inaugural Patriots & Paws 5K run/walk!
Held at the historic Van Cortlandt Park Cross Country Track on September 12, 2026, this community event honors the Bronx’s Revolutionary War legacy and our nation’s 250th anniversary by supporting our Veterans, or own modern-day heroes!
All proceeds from the event benefit America’s VetDogs, a non-profit organization in Smithtown, NY that is dedicated to providing enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities.
By sponsoring or participating in our 5K, you can help provide highly skilled service and guide dogs to those living with physical injuries and mobility challenges, PTSD and seizures, and/or hearing and vision loss. America’s VetDogs ensures that those who served our country honorably can live with pride and self-reliance.
Whether you’re running for a personal best or walking to show your support, your involvement helps provide a life-changing companion to a veteran in need.
