Join us for Paramount+ Movie Nights at Bryant Park on Monday, September 14th, featuring a free outdoor screening of Shakespeare in Love. Starring Joseph Fiennes and Gwyneth Paltrow and directed by John Madden, the 1998 romantic comedy offers an imaginative take on the story behind the creation of one of the greatest love stories ever told.
Set in the 1590s, the film follows a young William Shakespeare who is out of cash and ideas. When he meets his ideal woman, she inspires him to write one of his most famous plays, setting the stage for a witty, romantic and timeless story.
The lawn opens at 5:00 PM, giving guests plenty of time to spread out a blanket, enjoy a picnic and take in the summer atmosphere before the film begins at 8:00 PM. Hester Street Fair food vendors will be available from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM on the Fountain Terrace, while beer and wine can be purchased on the western end of the lawn beginning at 5:00 PM.
