Since 1927, Strand Bookstore has been a family-owned independent bookstore serving New Yorkers new, used, and rare books. As the sole survivor of New York’s Book Row, we have continued to grow and expand on our legacy of independent bookselling with four locations across the city. We are proud to be New York’s bookstore.
We hope to see you on Saturday, September 19th for our 99th anniversary celebration—a day full of bookish activities for adults and kids, surprise guests, and, of course, 20% off sale across all locations.
