Global Kids’ Annual 5K Run/Walk/Push takes place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens each fall, bringing together nearly two hundred students, families, volunteers, GK staff, and members of the community.
The event includes:

Global Kids’ Annual 5K Run/Walk & Family Day brings together students, families, volunteers, staff and community members in support of young people across New York City and Washington, D.C. Funds raised help Global Kids provide year-round programs focused on academic achievement, college and career readiness, social-emotional learning and global citizenship.
Through in-school and afterschool programming, wraparound services, and exciting leadership opportunities, Global Kids helps young people build the skills, confidence and support they need to thrive in school, pursue their goals and positively engage in the world. Global Kids serves more than 14,000 students each year.
