For one special evening, three voices of modern Lebanese cuisine—Jad Youssef and Aga Youssef (co-owners of the award-winning Lebnani in Surrey, UK), Edy Massih (founder of Edy’s Grocer in Brooklyn), and Samaya Boueri Ziade (owner of Brooklyn’s acclaimed Sawa)—join forces for an extraordinary, multi-course dinner celebrating the warmth, generosity, and rich culinary heritage of Lebanon, and the release of chef Jad’s debut cookbook, Lebnani: A Journey Through Family, Food & the Flavours of Lebanon.Grounded in the spirit of sawa—the Arabic word for together—this collaborative gathering bridges restaurants across continents to honor the diversity, family memories, and soulful hospitality that define Lebanese food culture.Copies of Lebnani will be available for purchase with your ticket or on-site, provided by our friends at Kitchen Arts & Letters.
This one-night-only dinner will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvre upon arrival, an expertly crafted multi-course menu with thoughtfully curated wine or beverage pairings, and a Q&A with the featured chefs.
