Ronna J Levy (@ronnalevy) and Tracey  Starin (@tracey.starin) are so excited about their upcoming Storytelling Show on Wednesday, October 28 @ 8:30 PM at Pine Box Rock Shop located at 12 Grattan St, (East Williamsburg / Bushwick) in Brooklyn, NY. In honor of October being Blindness Awareness Month, our featured tellers are all fantastic vision impaired storytellers! Come hear stories from M Leona Godin, Eric Vetter, and Dustin D’Addato! We also want to hear your stories! (You do not have to be vision impaired). Come throw your name in the hat to tell any true, personal, 5 minute story. No theme, and no cover, cause it’s FREE!! It is also our Halloween show, so there will be CANDY!  Just One More Thing Storytelling Show is a live open-mic and booked storytelling event  held on the last Wednesday of the month.    Subway: Take the “L” train to the Morgan Ave stop .

You're invited to join us for one or more Manhattan Arts Grant Applicant Labsessions taking place throughout the borough. If you have questions about the application process or need assistance to complete it, feel welcome to come and connect with LMCC's Artistic Programs team whenever your schedule allows during the session.

Most of us can probably think of something we wish we'd been taught about our bodies, reproductive health, or relationships...but weren't.
​NYC does have required sex education standards, but they're largely focused on HIV and AIDS and leave out many of the reproductive health, relationships, and sexual health topics students need to navigate. And even when teachers are covering what's required, finding good, easy-to-use materials to teach it well can be a challenge.
​Join Learn Mobo for an evening of conversation about what we're taught, what we're missing, and how we can make reproductive health education better for everyone. We'll explore the myths and misconceptions we grow up with, what the science actually says, and how better tools and resources can help bridge the gaps for both educators and students.
​Whether you're a CUNY student trying to fill personal gaps, a teacher already working with NYC students, or a parent trying to arm themselves with better resources, come bring your questions, share your experiences, and learn with us.
​We'll be joined by Dr. Jordan H. Machlin, PhD, reproductive scientist and science communicator, for an open Q&amp;A about reproductive health, bodies, fertility, and the questions all people deserve clear answers to.
