CUL DE SAC To Bring Outdoor Sauna Pop-Up Back To The East Village
The three-week outdoor sauna pop-up begins on Sept. 28.

NEW YORK CITY — CUL DE SAC, a New York City nonprofit working to make communal wellness more accessible, will return to the East Village for a three-week outdoor sauna pop-up later this month.

Following a summer of sold-out sessions, free community programming and a fully booked partnership with the Sustain-Release music festival, CUL DE SAC will host programming at La Plaza Cultural Community Garden at 674 E. 9th St. from Sept. 28 through Oct. 19.
The fall pop-up will feature outdoor wood-fired sauna and cold plunge sessions, rotating DJs and music, local food and beverages, and community programming.

CUL DE SAC is also planning a crowdfunding campaign beginning September 29 to support a longer-term winter residency and its broader goal of making communal bathing and wellness more accessible to New Yorkers.
