Here Are 15 NYC Home Sales That Closed In One Weekend

NEW YORK, NY— Fifteen home sales across Brooklyn and Queens closed in a single weekend, with prices ranging from a $380,000 house in Jamaica to an $8.165 million townhouse in Brooklyn Heights.

The sales, drawn from Zillow listings, showed demand clustering around multifamily properties, large single-family homes and move-in-ready residences built or renovated within the past two decades.

The highest recorded sale, a six-bedroom townhouse at 10 Sidney Place in Brooklyn Heights, closed Friday for $8.165 million, or roughly $1,432 per square foot.

Built in 1899, the 5,700-square-foot property marked the clear top of the market during the reporting period.

Then, on Monday, a two-bedroom co-op at 38-15 149 Street in Flushing sold for $405,000, while a three-bedroom single-family home in Jamaica changed hands for $380,000 despite carrying a Zestimate of $471,200.

The average closed sale price across all listed properties in Brooklyn and Queens reached roughly $1.58 million.

Remove the Brooklyn Heights townhouse, and that average dropped to about $1.03 million, revealing how one ultra-luxury deal reshaped the market snapshot.

The newly built condominium at 941 57th Street in Borough Park sold for the highest rate among smaller properties at roughly $1,049 per square foot.

Meanwhile, larger detached homes in southern Brooklyn neighborhoods traded at significantly lower rates, including $465 per square foot in Sheepshead Bay and $463 per square foot in Maspeth.

The Jamaica property sold roughly 19 percent below its Zestimate. The Midwood home on Avenue P closed about 6 percent below Zillow’s valuation, while the Gravesend multifamily property sold approximately 9 percent below its Zestimate.

The sole property currently in contract, the Forest Hills home on Juno Street, carried one of the highest price-per-square-foot figures in the group at roughly $985.
