L.I. African American Chamber of Commer Small Business Growth Initiative Focused on AI, Access to Capital, Procurement & Business Counseling

New York, New York : March 27, 2026 — The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (LIAACC), one of New York State’s largest African American chambers, has announced a new Small Business Growth Initiative designed to help businesses of all backgrounds and industries grow and scale in today’s rapidly changing economy.
The initiative will provide small businesses with access to artificial intelligence tools, business counseling, procurement opportunities, and access to capital resources.
The program is open to entrepreneurs and businesses from all communities seeking to strengthen and grow their companies.

“Small businesses today need access to technology, capital, and contracts to survive and grow,” said Phil Andrews, President of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce.
“This initiative is about helping businesses compete, build capacity, and create jobs. The Small Business Growth Initiative will focus on four key areas:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Small Business
Workshops and training on how businesses can use AI for marketing, customer service, operations, and financial management.
Access to Capital
Connections to lenders, grant programs, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and alternative financing sources.
Procurement & Contracting Opportunities
Guidance on how to do business with government agencies, corporations, and large institutions.
Business Counseling & Technical Assistance
One-on-one counseling, business planning, marketing strategies, and growth planning for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
The Chamber will host a series of workshops, networking events, and business development sessions designed to connect small businesses to resources, relationships, and opportunities.
The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce has a long history of supporting small businesses through training programs, technical assistance, business conferences, and economic development initiatives. The organization works with businesses across many industries including professional services, construction, retail, technology, healthcare, and hospitality.
