This NYC Bar Was Named The Best In All Of North America: See List

NEW YORK CITY — A West Village bar was named the best bar in North America, according to a recently released list.

The 50 Best brand on Thursday released its 2026 50 Best Bars in North America list and Sip & Guzzle earned the number one spot.

The West Village bar is known for its Japanese-inspired cocktails.

Thirteen other bars in the city made the coveted list. Two bars in the East Village made the top five.

Bar Snack earned the number three spot while Schmuck was named the fourth-best bar in all of North America.

Further down the list, Superbueno landed in the number nine spot. Clemente Bar at Eleven Madison Park came in at number 15.

In addition, Martiny’s made the list at number 23 and Angel Share came in at number 31. Another popular bar, Double Chicken Please, made the list at number 35.

Other notable entries include Bar Madonna, Attaboy, Maison Premiere and Employees Only.

The newest list came after five other bars in the city made the 50 Best brand's extended 2026 list which ranked from 51 to 100.
