NYC Ferry Set To Run Partial Service On Wednesday
Ferry service has been shut down since Jan. 27.
NEW YORK CITY — NYC Ferry will resume partial service beginning on Wednesday.
The ferry service will begin operating a modified Rockaway-Soundview route with the following landings in service:
- Ferry Point Park
- Soundview
- East 90th Street
- East 34th Street
- Stuyvesant Cove
- Wall St./Pier 11
The ferry will not stop at the Sunset Park and Rockaway landings as they are still impacted by changing ice conditions and will remain closed.

"We are hopeful that as temperatures rise this week, we will be able to re-open other routes in the coming days," the ferry service said in a statement.
Ferry service has been shut down since Jan. 27. At that time heavy ice prevented boats from docking and some to skip stops at Brooklyn Navy Yard and Atlantic Avenue/Pier 6-Brooklyn Bridge Park.
