NYC Will Host Olympic Soccer Games In 2028: See Where
New York City joins Nashville, St. Louis, San Jose, San Diego and Columbus as host cities for group stage and knockout games.

NEW YORK CITY — New York City will be among six cities in the United States to host Olympic soccer games in 2028, the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games committee announced on Tuesday.
NYCFC's new stadium, Etihad Park, set to open in 2027, will host Olympic group stage and knockout soccer games. Located next to Citi Field in Queens, the stadium will host matches for both the men’s and women’s competitions.

The men’s and women's gold medal games will be held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The men's final will be played on July 28, 2028, followed by the women's final on July 29, 2028.
"It is an honor ro be selected as part of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and I know that New Yorkers will eagerly look forward to seeing these matches played at New York City's new home for football, Brad Sims, New York City FC CEO, said in a statement.
