Yorktown Teen Arrested After Throwing Stones, Damaging Windows At Saw Mill River Road Property: Police
While an investigation was being conducted at the scene, the suspects returned in a vehicle. Police pulled the car over.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Westchester teen was arrested after vandalizing private property, according to cops.
The Yorktown Police Department says that a 17-year-old Yorktown resident was arrested and charged as an adolescent offender. If he had been an adult, the charges would have been felony third-degree criminal mischief, and misdemeanor third-degree criminal trespass, police said.
On Dec. 22, around 6:30 p.m., Yorktown police officers responded to an address on Saw Mill River Road, after receiving a report from a caller who said there were young people on his property throwing stones and damaging windows.

While an investigation was being conducted at the scene, the suspects returned in a vehicle. Police pulled the car over.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as the teenage suspect in the vandalism.

All occupants in the vehicle were taken back to Yorktown Police Department headquarters and released into the custody of their guardians pending further investigation.
After further investigation, police believe the 17-year-old trespassed onto the property and threw stones damaging the property.
On January 13, the teen, accompanied by a guardian, voluntarily surrendered himself at Yorktown Police Department headquarters. The 17-year-old was issued an Adolescent Offender Appearance Ticket and released to their guardian.
