GREENPORT, NY — An iconic Greenport destination is back for the 2026 season with some changes: Claudio’s Marina, a cornerstone of Greenport’s waterfront since 1870, is reopening for the 2026 season "with a new chapter that blends tradition with fresh coastal concepts," representatives said.

The season begins with the return of its anchor property, Claudio’s Waterfront, alongside the revival of a historic favorite, Claudio’s Restaurant — formerly Claudio’s Tavern & Grill — and the debut of an entirely new concept, Saylor Beach House. The marina will also introduce a new boutique, Le Shack Beach.

Claudio's Waterfront, "the heart of the Greenport complex," will officially reopen for lunch service on Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The waterfront favorite, known for its dockside dining and famous seafood dishes and cocktails, will operate weekends only to start, expanding to full-time hours as the season progresses.

Debuting Friday, May 1, Claudio’s Restaurant ushers in a new chapter for the landmark location. "The refreshed space leans into its historic harborfront charm, with a cozy dining room made for shared plates and sunset views," representatives said. "Guests can expect classic coastal fare and signature seafood dishes alongside tavern staples, crisp salads, brunch favorites and a curated cocktail and wine list."

The restaurant will be open Fridays through Sundays leading up to Memorial Day Weekend, and then transition to a Thursday through Sunday schedule.

Hours are Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pizza will be offered on-site from Peter’s Pizzeria, with classic New York–style pies and fresh ingredients

New to the canvas this year is Saylor Beach House: Once the home of the longtime Crabby Jerry's and last year's Common Country, the space will see its new incarnation as "a Mediterranean-inspired dockside restaurant and bar. Designed to evoke the spirit of European beach clubs, Saylor blends polished design with relaxed coastal living, offering a vibrant new destination for waterfront dining, golden-hour cocktails, and some much-needed sunset therapy on the dock," representatives said.

Saylor Beach House will be open Thursday through Friday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. kicking off Memorial Day weekend.

In addition, Le Shack Beach will open as a "boho-inspired boutique with a well-traveled point of view, bringing curated style and beachside charm to Claudio’s Marina," representatives said.

Visitors can explore the shop beginning Memorial Day weekend, with hours Thursday from 11 a.m.to 6 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Following Memorial Day weekend, Le Shack Beach will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m..

Charlie Boy at Claudio's will not be back this year.

Last year, the Claudio's Bahamas location debuted, marking the brand’s first expansion outside of Greenport.

"Claudio’s has always been about evolution while staying deeply connected to the community that made it what it is," said Celeste Fierro, managing partner of Claudio’s. “As a North Fork waterfront fixture for generations, we’re reimagining Claudio's with each season. We are proud to be restoring the spirit of Claudio’s Restaurant and embracing complimentary neighbors like Saylor Beach House and Le Shack Beach, all while honoring our local roots and the guests who made this harbor home."

New menus and programming for each restaurant will be announced soon. Claudio’s and Saylor Beach House are available for hosting events.

A longtime chapter in Greenport history came to a close in 2018: After more than 147 years owned by the same family, Claudio's was sold.

In a message on the business' Facebook page, owners wrote: "To our many wonderful friends, fans and loyal patrons: Kathy, Bill, Janice, Beatsy and the late Jerry Tuthill — the Claudio/Tuthill family — would like to publicly announce the sale of our businesses, Claudio's Restaurant, Claudio's Clam Bar and Crabby Jerry's. While this marks the end of a long era for our family, we believe it also serves as a new beginning for the property, one which we hope will be filled with innovation and growth."

The iconic name lives on, the post said.
