'Dream Green Extravaganza' Drawing Extended To New Date Due To Nor'easter

GREENPORT, NY — Due to the weekend's powerful nor'easter, the Eastern Long Island Hospital Auxiliary has extended its 34th Annual Dream Green Extravaganza.

The drawing is now scheduled for Sunday, October 18 at 4:30 p.m. at the ELIH Auxiliary Opportunity Shop, located at 321 Main Street in Greenport.

Proceeds from the annual fundraiser benefit Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital.

The drawing was rescheduled following the postponement of the Greenport Maritime Festival due to anticipated severe weather last weekend.

All previously purchased Dream Green tickets remain valid, and tickets are still available for purchase, organizers said.

The Dream Green Extravaganza features 65 cash prizes, including a $50,000 first prize. No more than 2,999 tickets will be sold, and purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

If fewer than 2,700 tickets are sold, first through fifth prizes will be prorated based on the number of tickets sold divided by 2,999.
