Mattituck-Cutchogue School District Unveils Free, Universal, Full-Day Pre-K Program For 2026 To 2027
Applicants must be eligible to attend kindergarten in September 2027, the district says.

MATTITUCK, NY — The Mattituck-Cutchogue School District, in cooperation with Just Kids, will provide a Universal Pre-Kindergarten program at the Cutchogue East Elementary School for the 2026 to 2027 school year, district officials said.

It is anticipated that the program will service 33.5 students at no charge to the family, officials added.
Applicants must be a Mattituck-Cutchogue UFSD resident and provide a copy of documentation of residence; a copy of documentation of age must accompany the application.

Applicants must be 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2026 (born between Dec. 2, 2021 and Dec. 1, 2022). Applicants must be eligible to attend kindergarten in September 2027.
Applications will be mailed to all district residents in mid April and can be found on the district's website or by contacting Lisa Bieber at lbieber@mufsd.com, (631) 298-4242 ext. 3101.
