MATTITUCK, NY — Mattituck High School students are set to shine onstage as they present the musical comedy "The Addams Family Musical" (school edition).

"Our talented students have been working hard for the past four months on this show," said Mattituck High School English teacher and co-director of high school musicals Anne Gilvarry.

The show, she said, "is a hilarious comedy based on the characters of the popular TV series of the 1960s and the recent Netflix series. Audiences will enjoy seeing Wednesday, Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Pugsley, Lurch, and even Cousin Itt!"

"The Addams Family", school edition, features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on characters created by Charles Addams.

The show takes place on March 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. and March 8 at 1 p.m.

The show takes place in the Mattituck High School auditorium, located at 15125 Main Road. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and are available at the door.
