Elly CARES Project Seeking Sponsors And Vendors For 'Stomp The Stigma 5K' In Patchogue
The event is named for Patchogue teen Ellyana De La Torre, who died in 2021.
PATCHOGUE, NY — The Elly CARES Project is accepting applications for sponsors and table vendors for its 5th annual Stomp the Stigma 5K for Mental Health Awareness on May 30 at Shorefront Park in Patchogue.
The organization's goal is to create a space where the community can come together and learn about the many resources and support systems available.
It's named after Ellyana "Elly" De La Torre, who suffered from mental health challenges and died in 2021.

Stop the Stigma brings together local businesses, organizations, and community leaders who share a commitment to supporting mental health awareness and strengthening connections within our community.
With hundreds of participants attending and the event continuing to grow each year, it has become a meaningful opportunity for organizations to connect directly with the community, organizers say.
