'It's A Wonderful Life'-Themed Event Set For Patchogue This Weekend

It kicks off with a special screening of the classic holiday film starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed on Thursday at Plaza MAC Cinema.

PATCHOGUE, NY — “It’s A Wonderful Life In Patchogue” is set to unfold this weekend.

The festival is set to kick off Thursday night with a screening of the classic holiday film starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed at Plaza MAC Cinema at 7 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, the festivities include all-day holiday shopping with select discounts, music, and interactive events all with a 1940s theme, as well as live re-enactments inspired by the film.

There will be scenes from the movie acted out all weekend, led by event Grand Marshal Marc Siegel, the owner of Blum's. The event will also include vintage cars, carolers, newsies, and activities that will continue into the night at restaurants and cars.

Tickets to the movie and a VIP bracelet for shopping discounts are $20, while VIP bracelets alone are $10.
