Cortlandt Recreation Department Want You! To Be A Summer Lifeguard

The Town of Cortlandt Recreation Department is looking for Lifeguards to staff Charles J. Cook Pool!

Lifeguard Age Requirement: 15 years of age. Starting Salary $14.00 per hour.

These positions are limited as the number of openings is dependent on how many staff are returning from the previous season. Anyone applying for a Lifeguard position is required to have valid Lifeguard/First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and AED Certifications.

The Town of Cortlandt will hold tryouts in early May and positions will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Due to the size of our facility and the nature of it’s programming, only applicants who excel at tryouts will be hired.
