Town Of Cortlandt: USA 250th Photography Show And Contest 2026

The Town of Cortlandt shares the exciting news that we are hosting a town wide photography show and contest celebrating the 250th anniversary of our country through photography. Photographers need nothing more than a phone camera or a digital camera and each photographer’s unique perspective. We invite all who live or work in the Town of Cortlandt to share their photographs of scenes from our country’s history and our special celebration year through historical locations throughout the Town of Cortlandt and the United States, events, reenactments, people and places that celebrate our nation, and anniversary celebrations throughout the year.

The photography show and contest is open to both youth and adults who live or work in the Town of Cortlandt. The top photographs will be chosen for display at the Cortlandt Town Hall or the Cortlandt Youth Center, and with limited display space, those not chosen for display will be shared on the Town’s website. All photographs will add to our Town’s celebration.
