The Spring Tag Sale hosted by The Manor Club at 1023 Esplanade, Pelham, NY, will be held Friday and Saturday, May 29-30, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Entry is free. For $5, you may enjoy early access at 9:30 am. 

Shop at our indoor event for new and gently used items (no clothing). In addition to our tag sale, you will have access to a variety of vendors. If you would like to participate as a vendor, you may reserve an 8-ft table for $50 or 2 8-ft tables for $75.

The Manor Club is accepting community merchandise donations by appointment. All proceeds will benefit The Manor Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Call 914.738.1528 for table reservations or to schedule a donation drop-off.

The Riverdale Children’s Theatre (RCT), now in its 16th year, announces its Spring musical “Guys &amp; Dolls” at the Hayes Auditorium of the University of Mount Saint Vincent (6301 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY). Brandon Bieber, co-choreographer for the recent Jennifer Lopez film “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” directs and choreographs “Guys and Dolls” with shows May 8 (5 PM), May 9 (2 PM and 7 PM), and May 10 (2 PM). “We are so proud to bring amazing shows to families in the Bronx, Yonkers, and beyond. The joy of live theatre is even better when you see kids bringing stories to life with passion, talent, and energy,” said Derek Woods, RCT’s Founder and Executive Director. 
High school and middle school kids (grades 8 through 12) will perform in RCT’s production of “Guys and Dolls.” 
“Through these productions, young people not only develop their unique talents in song and dance, but also build community among themselves, joining together from various religious and cultural backgrounds,” added RCT Co-Founder and Artistic Director, Becky Lillie Woods. “Plus, when kids are getting to work with someone as accomplished as Brandon Bieber, they truly believe they can accomplish anything. ” 
Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, the classic musical is an oddball romantic comedy. Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, “Guys and Dolls” ran for 1,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950, along with a celebrated revival on Broadway in 1992.

First Prize Winner, Ben Puts, from Yonkers will perform the first movement of Lalo’s cello concerto, which reflects Lalo's Spanish-inflected Romanticism — restless, colorful, never predictable. The writing is idiomatic and demanding, showcasing the instrument's full expressive range from deep, resonant lows to singing upper register passages.
Second Prize Winner, Taira Matsumoto from Pleasantville introduces the saxophone as a solo concert instrument with Glazunov’s Concerto for Sax. Cast in a single continuous movement, the opening theme, lyric and aristocratic, displays the alto saxophone's uncanny ability to sing like the human voice.
Third Prize winner, Yuto Lim from Harrison completes the celebration of our Westchester high school students with the 1st
movement from one of the most beloved violin concertos ever written, Mendelssohn's E minor Concerto.
The Yonkers Phil will open the concert with Strauss Fruhlingstimme (Voices of Spring) This sparkling concert waltz distills everything that made Strauss the undisputed King of the Waltz. Tchaikovsky’s stirring March Slav will open the second half of the program.It unfolds from a solemn, folk-tinged opening to a triumphant conclusion incorporating the Russian Imperial anthem.
It will be a wonderful afternoon celebrating three talented Westchester high school students. Come and bring your family and friends.

Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as “representing the young, up-and-coming generation,” and a “superb cellist with a large, expressive, singing tone, passionate musicianship, and magnificent playing” by the Journal Tribune,&nbsp; Armenian-American cellist Ani Kalayjian enjoys a prolific career as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician and educator that has taken her to Japan, Australia, Canada, the Middle East, and throughout Europe and the United States.&nbsp;&nbsp; Newly appointed Artistic Director at the Woman’s Club of Englewood, Ani founded a brand new chamber music series, Carriage House Concerts, whose mission is to connect the community through the art.&nbsp; She has also been recently appointed as Co-Artistic Director of LYRICA Chamber Music Series in Chatham, NJ and performed all over Jordan with Oberlin College, return visits to American University of Beirut, and AGBU Sao Paolo.

Join the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation for their next Cocktails &amp; Conversation event at The Dining Lab at Monroe University, featuring restaurateur and food influencer Sabrina Rudin, owner of Spring Café Aspen and New York.
Sabrina will be here to talk about her first cookbook, Healthy with a Side of Happy, and share what she’s learned about how to cook, eat and live in a healthier way for ourselves, our families and our planet. Monroe University’s renowned culinary team will prepare and serve samples from Rudin’s cookbook, which will be available for sale and signing.
Cocktails &amp; Conversation with Sabrina Rudin will take place on Thursday, May 14 at The Dining Lab Restaurant at Monroe University (434 Main Street, New Rochelle) from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. <a href="https://www.flexcar.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Flexcar</a>, the first and only month-to-month car lease company, today announced its expansion into New York State with the opening of its New York hub in Larchmont. The launch grows Flexcar&rsquo;s East Coast footprint and makes its flexible car leases accessible to drivers across the greater New York area.

With its New York launch, Flexcar is adding approximately 13,400 square feet of retail and lot space, providing capacity for hundreds of vehicles.
