We’re Dragonfly Cares, a group of providers offering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Therapy across Long Island. Our goal is to support children as well as the caregivers around them, while emphasizing community engagement and transparency. Our goal from the start has been to create a supportive network and uplifting environment for the families and therapists we work with. No more one-size fits all models, we provide more and always will. Each group is led by a BCBA and includes 1:1 support from a trained behavior technician. Groups are thoughtfully formed based on each child’s individual needs and skill sets. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to build social skills, communication, and more—all in a fun and supportive environment! The seven seniors are as follows: <ul><li>Harsham Dugar </li><li>Daniel Jung</li><li>Surya Krishnan</li><li>Aiden Noh</li><li>Taniya Raipatriwar</li><li>Emily Xi </li><li>Allison Zhou</li></ul> More than 1.3 million students nationwide entered the competition, and the seven Hawks are now among more than 16,000 students to advance to the next round. In the Finalist round, these students will be competing for one of the National Merit Scholarships, which combined are worht about $24 million. The seven students will find out in February if they are a finalist, and the scholarship winners will be announced between April and July.

The free program is co-sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Social Studies Council. The event will be the first of many lively conversation about America at 250 with some of our country’s leading history scholars. It is open to teachers throughout the Mid Hudson and Sound Shore communities as well as Fairfield County.
Professors David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman and Beverly Gage will take the stage at the new Wachenheim Center to examine the history of the nation-state and the contested nature of American national identity. The panel will discuss what the United States and the Constitution have meant to citizens over time and how that vision has changed or stayed constant. &nbsp;The event is FREE but registration is required.
