Embassy Diner To Host Fundraiser Next Week For Homeless Veterans
"Those veterans who served and raised their hand for their country should not be left alone."

BETHPAGE, NY — The Embassy Diner in Bethpage has partnered with the Homeless Veterans of LI organization to support local veterans in need on Feb. 10.
The diner will be the host of a fundraiser organized by 80-year-old Farmingdale resident and Vietnam veteran Arturo Edwards. The fundraiser will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 10.
Edwards is the president of the Help for Homeless Long Island Veterans, which was founded in 2025 and is based in Farmingdale. He said it is his mission to aid homeless veterans on LI.

"I find it necessary that no veteran should be left out," Edwards said. "I want people to show up because we are supporting the homeless veterans. Those veterans who served and raised their hand for their country should not be left alone."
