Emergency Blood Drive Coming to Pleasantville Fire House July 30

Worst BLOOD SHORTAGE since COVID declared…AND It’s “trauma season!”
2026 has been plagued by blood shortages, and we are in the middle of the worst one in years. On top of that, EMS workers call summer “trauma season” due to the jump in auto, sport and recreational accidents. Medical facilities can't wait...they need blood supplies on the shelf when accident victims and ALL others requiring immediate treatment arrive. YOU CAN HELP.
The Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department and the Pleasantville Volunteer Ambulance Corps are pleased to announce that they will be hosting a Blood Drive in July to help ward off mid-summer shortages.Blood donors from all towns are encouraged to come to lend their help.
