In light of the many recent AI snafus—from self-driving cars and delivery bots to large-scale privacy violations—the work in this exhibition relishes the human joy of walking and traveling that induces all senses, inspires mark-making in-place, and encourages the instinct for collecting souvenirs. In reflection of Open AI CEO Sam Altman's observation that, "it also takes a lot of energy to train a human....like 20 years of life and all of the food you eat during that time before you get smart..." this exhibition traces the lines between aimless meandering, the noble ideals of a hero's journey, and the discriminatory nature of travel access (unavoidably but peripherally).
Can’t Take My Eyes Off You considers the endless variation among us animal travelers, including pack-rat accumulator behaviors, product-less observation &amp; absorption, synchronized pack movement, pilgrimage, and the brandings of serial imprinters. Wayfinding imagery, portable altars, and methods of nailing-down one’s environment and place within it speak to a simultaneous insatiability for an endless horizon and for familiarity. The exhibition revels in the uniquely animal impulse to fixate, repeat, and to feast one’s eyes to no particular end.

Naturalization Civics Test Learning and Review Sessions

Les Beaux Arts Gallery is celebrating the beginning of the summer with a poetic exhibition by Beverly Miller Orthwein. The exhibition will open on Sunday, May 10 and run through Friday, July 10, 2026.
Orthwein is a watercolor artist inspired by the natural world. Her birds, flowers, and still-life paintings are delicate with a certain freshness. They exude quiet meditation and calmness.
She started her art education with pen and ink studies of landscapes and later embraced watercolor through Chinese brush painting, and has continued to explore its expressive possibilities. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for flora and fauna. 
Orthwein earned her BFA from Pratt Institute and further studies at Hammon Art Museum.
She has exhibited in several galleries around and has works in private collections in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Les Beaux Arts Gallery is located in the Round Hill Community Church, 395 Round Hill Road, Greenwich. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00, and closed on Saturdays. Please call ahead [203.869.1091] for holiday hours. <a href="https://www.flexcar.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Flexcar</a>, the first and only month-to-month car lease company, today announced its expansion into New York State with the opening of its New York hub in Larchmont. The launch grows Flexcar&rsquo;s East Coast footprint and makes its flexible car leases accessible to drivers across the greater New York area.
