New Lottery Open For 21 Affordable Apartments In 'The Abendroth'
Rents at the Port Chester building range from $1,640 for a studio to $2,068 for a 2-bedroom for those meeting household income requirements.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Yet another new chance for renters to combat the ongoing affordable housing crisis is here for a lucky few.
Westchester Residential Opportunities announced that "The Abendroth," a newly constructed, 204-unit luxury building located at 169 N. Main Street, in Port Chester, will have 21 affordable units set aside.
Amenities in the pet-friendly building include a washer/dryer in each unit, 24-hour access to a fitness studio, a private coffee shop, a pool, and outdoor spaces. The building is located in downtown Port Chester, close to the Metro-North station.

Affordable units will be available to those earning less than 60 percent of the area average monthly household income.

- Studio (5 units available): $1,640; for household size of one, income limits are $53,460-$71,250
- One-bedroom (9 units available): $1,744; for household size of one, income limits are $57,240-$71,250; for household size of two, income limits are $57,240-$81,400; for household size of three, income limits are $57,240-$91,600
- Two-bedroom (7 units available): 2,068; for household size of two, income limits are $68,700-$81,400; for household size of three, income limits are $68,700-$91,600; for household size of four, income limits are $68,700-$101,800; for household size of five, income limits are $68,700-$109,900.
Rent includes hot water. Tenants are responsible for electric (including heat and cooking).
The deadline for applications is September 21, 2026, at 4 p.m. Selections will be made by lottery on September 26, 2026, at 11 a.m. Applications received after the deadline will be waitlisted. Sending more than one application may disqualify you.
