PORT JEFFERSON, NY — A man was approached by a gunman outside of the Tara Inn in Port Jefferson early Sunday morning, Suffolk police said.
An unknown man approached the man, displayed a gun, and demanded the man's phone and wallet, at around 12:47 a.m., according to police.
The man refused to comply and ran away, and the gunman ran away, police said.
