International Coastal Cleanup Day

Help collect debris on the Preserve’s beautiful beach and be a part of the international initiative to clean up waterways around the globe! Each year the Ocean Conservancy engages people to clean up their local beaches and waterways and analyzes the debris so valuable data about waste can be assessed. According to the Ocean Conservancy, “plastic pollution is a massive problem for our ocean, but even small actions can make a big difference. Every bottle, every straw, every piece of trash you clean up can lead to a cleaner, healthier ocean.”

Join us any time between 11 am – 12:30 pm to join the effort. Admission to the Preserve is free for all who volunteer!
